The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office is currently seeking applications for the position of School Resource Officer at Lincoln Academy, an independent, comprehensive secondary school for day and residential students located in Newcastle Maine.

 

The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office serves a county of about 35,000 residents in a diverse landscape from coastal fishing to inland agricultural communities.  The Sheriff’s Office has a staff of 17 Patrol Deputies and 6 Detectives with the School Resource Officer assigned to Patrol Duties when not working within a school.

 

We are looking for an individual with at least two years of experience who is interested in an outstanding opportunity to work within a diverse educational setting while serving a community both in and outside of the school. We are also seeking applications for the position of Deputy Sheriff in our Patrol Division.
