Where are you located?
The Lincoln County Sheriff's Office is located in Wiscasset, Maine at 42 Bath Road (Route 1). We are located next to the Lincoln County Courthouse and across the street from the Town of Wiscasset municipal offices. We are just slightly south if the intersection of Rte 27. For driving directions you can use Google Maps.

Is this where I call to report a crime?
Only if the crime has been committed in one of the 19 communities we serve.  After determining where the crime occurred, you will then be referred to either our communications center or the appropriate municipal agency. For emergencies call 9-1-1.

How do I get a copy of a police or accident report?
The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office has partnered with GetCrashReport.com to provide online crash report services.

Where do I pick up an employment application?
Applications for positions with the LCSO are available at our office - 42 Bath Road in Wiscasset or on-line on our Join Our Team page. Watch our Join Our Team page for current opportunities.

Civil papers are served 7 days a week.  Out of state requests and pro-service papers require advanced payment. Office Hours: 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Closed holidays.
